Superb book. Algorithms easy to use. Well-written.
Also, you can get it on the kindle but I got the huge textbook because you can easily search the entire book from the Web with the online features (and no spam so far although you are required to register your email) and keep the textbook in the clinic. $ well spent!

As good as any
No ICU textbook on the market stands clearly apart from the others, but I thought this one was as good as any. Some of Rippe's content is getting stale, although the toxicology section remains supreme. Civetta's chapters can go on forever, although the surgical content is superior there. Vincent's chapters are tight and the content is reasonably current. An acceptably low fraction of the chapters have been outsourced to trainees.
Great update
Update to the classic text. Excellent. Very readable. Using for recertification and is comprehensive and up to date. Should be a part of every critical care surgeon's library.
