Customer Reviews from Amazon :
A MUST have textbook of rhinology
Finally, there is a rhinology text that is up to date, comprehensive and complete, giving a well balanced explanation of every aspect of rhinology ranging from basic sciences to clinical and practical rhinology, rhinoplasty and skull base. The book is well organized with beautiful illustrations and well-designed tables. I particularly like the tips and tricks, and notes, which highlight the important points of the chapter. The questions at the end of each chapter are also stimulating and help to summarize the key points. . Every chapter is well written with similar style. The paragraphs are succinct and to the point unlike other textbook, hence making reading easy and enjoyable. There is also sufficient depth and up to date information to keep you current with the development of Rhinology. If there is only one textbook of rhinology to get, I will strongly recommend getting this book first. After reading the book, you will have a good understanding and knowledge of rhinology.

A new standard for Rhinologic texts

While many authors have attempted to comprehensively address the topic of `Rhinology', the rapid pace of change in the scientific foundations of the field, in the past 25 years, has left most efforts out-of-date or as awkwardly revised editions. "Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery - From the lab to the operating room: an evidence-based approach", by Fokkens and Georgalas, forges a new path for the modern day physician. They have discarded the baggage of poorly constructed ideas, unscientific theory and anecdote that plagues many texts on the subject. This book is the new standard in field. It is comprehensive for both resident and expert. Clinical implication and practically are not lost with key points and review questions to ensure the essential messages are emphasized. The quality of the images reflects the high-definition era in which this book is constructed and the video library is beautifully edited, comprehensive and a reflection of the authors' expertise in the field. It is perhaps the finest video library available in Rhinologic texts. The chapters cover both medical and surgical (endoscopic and open) aspects of rhinology but lesser topics such as genetics, outcomes, non-allergic rhinitis, facial trauma and rhinoplasty are included in the same depth. This book is the ideal choice for anyone entering the field and equally so for the expert wishing to move with a new modern era of rhinology.

Rhinoplasty

簡介(Book Description from Barnes and Noble):
The most demanding and challenging of all aesthetic surgical procedures, rhinoplasty is made easily accessible in this practical, how-to book from the worlds leading practitioners. Not only does Rhinoplasty: Cases and Techniques demonstrate a wide array of approaches, techniques, outcomes, and surgical pearls, tips, and nuances, but it also offers a unique cross-cataloguing feature that is especially helpful for referencing specific deformities and the procedures used to correct them.

Customer Reviews from Amazon :

Wonderful reference for novices and experts
A wonderfully organized, well thought out reference for rhinoplasty surgeons with many different levels of experience. For the novice, it reviews many simple and advanced rhinoplasty techniques and then shows how these techniques can be applied to a given nasal deformity. For the experienced surgeon, it serves as a quick reference for the night before a case, demonstrating how experts in the field approach cases like yours. I'm sure it will be a useful tool for me for years to come.

Excellent Rhinoplasty guide for the seasoned or novice rhinoplasty surgeon
I have probably every article and book published on the topic of rhinoplasty and this is one of the best. The highlight of this book is simply its organization. Each nasal deformity is indexed so that you can quickly find solutions for each problem area of the nose that you want to correct. Secondly, you are not getting just one surgeons approach to the problem area. A myriad of techniques/approaches for each problem are presented from several different rhinoplasty experts. This title also has a accompanying online video index that covers all the basic rhinoplasty pearls and some advance techniques as well. I will keep this book handing for quick reference for difficult cases.
