Customer Reviews from Amazon :

A must have book for anyone studying stroke!
As a biophysics graduate student researching techniques to image stroke I needed a good reference that covered all aspects of stroke. This text was exactly what I was looking for! It provides an excellent background in the physiology and biochemistry of stroke and introduces current questions being asked by the scientific community. Of particular interest to me were the chapters on imaging techniques. These chapters bring the reader up to date on the many imaging modalities currently being used in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of stroke patients. Anyone hoping to gain a detailed and thorough understanding of the many aspects surrounding stroke will find it in the pages of this book. I highly recommend it!
