Meyers' dynamic radiology of the abdomen

簡介(Book Description from Barnes & Noble):
The Sixth Edition continues the tradition of this great book by applying anatomic knowledge to state-of-the-art imaging. Chapters have been reorganized to help the reader better interpret imaging studies by clearly demonstrating what to expect and where to look for disease spread from each individual organ. Up-to-date chapters explore the dynamic concept, explain its embryologic and anatomic basis, and classify the mechanisms of disease progression. The latest imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and PET, are incorporated throughout.

Customer Reviews from Amazon :

A great book!
This book is very famous in the field of abdominal imaging and I want to buy the dynamic radiology of the abdomen for a long time.
But knowing the release of the new edition, I had to wait for the release.
My first surprise when I got the book was that the book was thin!
From the description on Amazon.com., this book has 800 pages but actually only 420 pages, which was shocking. And it's a little revolution because the 5th edition had around 800 pages.
Explanation of subperitoneal space and peritoneal space are given easy-to-understand way. Anatomical and embryological viewpoint is emphasized.
Personally I like the chapters of retroperitoneal space and internal abdominal hernias.
Most of the figures are good quality and focused on the topic.
I recommend this book to all guys involved in this field.
