Not an easy class , but with a book like these makes you wonder why as considered hard in the first place.
Well let me start by saying I have never picked up a mechanical ventilation book but i have taken other classes that where around the subject of mechanical ventilation. I must say that so far i am really enjoying the book. its an easy read. I have noticed that theres is terms in anybook but the terms in this book are being written so smooth that sometimes you feel its logical. I actually thank God this book was used for my class because i was expecting the worse .. they definitly did a great job at this .. one of the other tings that i have enjoyed was the practince problems in each chapter. once you close the chapter your given an optional quiz at the end and it has made apply what i have read. I believe its an excellent tool and if you find your self stuck the answers are of course in the baack of the book . If you have the EGans book you know thats not an optional which i found silly to sign in a computer w.e long explaination to find out what you did wrong. i would definitley consider this to a friend.

A gem!
As a U.S. maternal-fetal medicine academician, I found this edition to be by far the most comprehensive, user-friendly and abundantly illustrated of its kind. Kudos to the authors and their team for a gem in the field of prenatal imaging. The online access allows me to consult this reference volume from the multiple sites I cover clinically without having to purchase additional copies of the book.

Excellent!

This book just keeps getting better! The imaging is beautiful with the perfect amount of text to walk you through the pertinent findings, differential diagnosis, and what you need to know about the diagnosis. Great for board prep or just to have in the reading room to make sure your reports say what they should.

A terrific book for rapid MSK learning
This book is worth every penny. The images are terrific, and the text is succinct and well-organized. Use this book for any exam review or to improve your MSK differentials.

The "Go To" Teaching File Book
This is the best musculoskeletal teaching file/case review book! There is an excellent diversity of cases of varying degrees of difficulty. The text provides just the right amount of information for the resident, student, or staff radiologist. The differential diagnosis list is very useful at the workstation. It is also a great reference for putting together case review conferences and lectures. Definitely a must read teaching file book.

THE book for Board review
This is one of my favorite review books of all time. The text is informative and to the point, while the images do a great job of illustrating the important concepts. As an educator, I recommend this to all radiology residents, fellows, and staff who want to "bone up" on their MSK skills.

Essential book for all Otolaryngology residents!
This is a fantastic atlas for otolaryngology residents. The line drawings are excellent, and each chapter explains in step-by-step, practical fashion how to do a particular operation, with accompanying comments from multiple subspecialty experts. The operations range from simple (tracheotomy) to the difficult and cutting edge (transaxillary robotic-assisted thyroidectomy), and thus the book is appropriate for residents of all levels. As a senior resident, this book enhanced my understanding as I learned to do neck dissections and other head and neck cancer cases. My only disappointment about this book is that it was not available earlier in my residency. What a great idea. Many thanks to the authors who contributed!

Krachmer Set
Excellent amount of information on medical and surgical cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery. Highly recommend for cornea specialists. My only quibbles would be a fair number of typographical errors and the fact that volume 1 should be broken down into two separate volumes because of sheer weight. It's too heavy to carry around comfortably.
