Excellent advanced intro to dermatology
This book is well organized and gives a great introduction to dermatology. Comes highly recommended from dermatologists I know for medical students or new derm PA's or residents.

great for students
This text is a great resource for all, but especially for my Neonatal nurse practitioner students. Because it is written from the bases of a clinical symptom or sign it is very clear how to formulate differential diagnosis. The Differential lists are comprehensive and very well outlined.

This neo book by Gomella is awesome. I had the 5th and 6th editions that somehhow walked out of my office. These books are very informative and help nurses study for their national certification.

This book is a fantastic resource, especially for radiation oncology residents studying for in-service or board exams. The >1000 questions, organized by disease site, are extremely well written: they are unambigious, detailed, and challenging. Each paragraph-long answer includes not only the answer to the specific question, but also additional information about the topic of the question, along with one or more references to textbook chapters and/or primary literature. Another great feature is the 14-page index, which allows you to look up a particular question or subtopic. The authors are to be thanked for writing a book that fills a sorely needed niche in our field.

A MUST have textbook of rhinology

Finally, there is a rhinology text that is up to date, comprehensive and complete, giving a well balanced explanation of every aspect of rhinology ranging from basic sciences to clinical and practical rhinology, rhinoplasty and skull base. The book is well organized with beautiful illustrations and well-designed tables. I particularly like the tips and tricks, and notes, which highlight the important points of the chapter. The questions at the end of each chapter are also stimulating and help to summarize the key points. . Every chapter is well written with similar style. The paragraphs are succinct and to the point unlike other textbook, hence making reading easy and enjoyable. There is also sufficient depth and up to date information to keep you current with the development of Rhinology. If there is only one textbook of rhinology to get, I will strongly recommend getting this book first. After reading the book, you will have a good understanding and knowledge of rhinology.

Congratulations for the Dr. Latifi Rifat as editor and his dream team os specialists who endorse this special issue about surgery of complex abdominal wall defects. We find in it up to date and relevant information about that problematic situation from anatomy to phisiology to pathology to clinical support and of course the surgical corrections.
I love the chapter about entero-cutaneus and atmospheric fistulas.
Very well documented with recent references.
Very well illustrated with selected graphics.
As a general surgeon sometimes I have to operate on this kind of conditions and I had to research very disperse blbliography to actualize me. Now I have the Kindle edition of this book with all the data and references in one place. By the way the Kindle edition is excellent.
As a teacher of graduate and postgraduate students of surgery this book is going to improve the quality of what I try to teach.

Great for dentists interested in 'High Speed Braces'

This is a very well-written review of many of the important aspects of orthodontics. It discusses topics that are essential for any dental professional who ventures outside what they are taught in dental school, as many myths create fear in the uninformed. The section on ortho-induced apical shortening and accelerated orthodontics are excellent and could easily be used to move a dentist to a higher level of service with confidence.

Necessary text for every orthodontist

This is a great book that provides the most recent and highest quality evidence available for most of the major orthodontic topics. Unlike some other orthodontic texts that "cherry pick" research studies that fit the opinions of the authors, EBCO uses only high level studies (systematic reviews, RCTs, Meta-analyses, etc) to discuss how the literature and evidence should guide our decision making. The authors present the material in a way that is easy to follow with summary bullet points and conclusions at the end of each chapter. If you're looking for a text that is supported by quality evidence and literature, then you need this book

Great book
This was a great read. Highlighted some nice evidence-based tips to take away and apply in clinical practice. Well worth the read for an update on contemporary principles.
